The Calleva Arms

The Calleva Arms is an idyllic village pub overlooking Silchester Common. The Calleva, formally known as The Crown, has a light airy conservatory overlooking the large enclosed garden , a middle bar area that in the winter has a roaring log burner and the main bar which is frequented by locals of all age groups

The pub has been highly commended by C>A>M>R>A and features in many “ good pub “ guides on a recommendation only basis ( not paid for advertising!) . Great food is served every lunch and evening , including daily homemade specials and a roast each Sunday. There are themed food weekends at the end of each month , and BBQ’s in the summer.

A good selection of ales including Fullers London Pride and Gales HSB as well as lagers,  wines , spirits and coffee always available.
